Tweets/videos in essays??

I’m writing a persuasive essay for my higher English portfolio at the moment and I want to use tweets and quotes from YouTube videos in it. Can I do that and if I can how do I properly quote them? Thanks x

Hi, I used YouTube videos for evidence in my N5 folio last year, hasn't been marked yet but my teacher didn't have a problem with it. I would cite it as you would anything else, generally just give the link.

I'm not sure about tweets, it might be a little more difficult, I would check with a teacher.
