What is A-level psychology and sociology like?

I did OCR Psychology last year. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was my favourite subject. Year 1 was mainly focused on the core areas of psychology - social, developmental, individual differences, biological and cognitive. There was also research methods. Year 2 was more applied. One compulsory unit was mental health and the other 2 that my school chose was child and criminal psychology. Here we learned about several theories and studies related to those areas of psychology and applied them to everyday scenarios.

It is very intense as there's a lot of information to memorise but if you start early with condensing your notes you'll be fine!
