Do you really need A level bio for a degree in medicine?

No. But you need chemistry, and your restricted on where you can apply without biology. I know many who applied without biology, but they needed to have at least one other science (maths and/or physics).

No, but you will be really restricting the number of universities you can apply to. It's important in medicine to cast as wide a net as possible for potential universities so that you can then apply to ones that suit the strengths of your application.

Most medical schools require it. Of all the A levels you could do, it's the one which is most helpful for medicine.

There's no good reason not to do it if you know you want to do medicine.
i think it would be useful to ask yourself if you'll enjoy medicine if you dont wan't to do bio. Biology is the foundation of medicine after all. That said, the biology at med school is probably different from that at A level
I honestly have no idea what I want to do. But I've chose the a levels: maths, further maths, chemistry and physics.
