If you didn’t get 5.42 maybe done them the wrong way around, I do these questions in my sleep and it was defo 5.42

Here what I got for the ones I can remember:
1) 0.25U
1.25U

2) Min value for P=6.66 (got 31 at first but then switched F to get the min value for P and got 6.66)

Elevator question:
708N
6 people

Moment question:
2688N
Can’t remember about a)

Last question:
1.18ms-1

Ball question:
24ms-1
T=0.105s

Vector question:
13ms-2 (I think)

have you taken the weight of the lift into account when working out the force? I think it was a mass of 250kg so force would be F - weight of lift - resistance - weight of X number of people, by doing that I got X=6

For the elevator question you have to take the weight of the elevator into account so:
10000-100-250g-75x= (250+75x)x3

yes I did and I subbed in my answer to check T didn’t exceed 10000
