Hi Brahiti, many law firms see the YLS' PBL programme as highly beneficial compared to traditional forms of teaching. This would be attributed to you not just learning law content, but being able to apply it in mock scenarios which mimic potential scenarios you could undertake in the future, i.e mooting and the skills learned there being employed by you in the future as a barrister in court.I had attended a link day with a barristers chambers, and the barrister I was partnered with stated that the YLS system is one of the best approaches in his opinion.I highly recommend it!

york's law programme is seen as really employable to many firms. the fact that YLS students don't just memorise the law but apply them to clients and a lot of the focus is on being really practical is really beneficial in industry. YLS does lots of moots and practice scenarios all with the aim of setting you up for being prepared for industry, something employers really like- lots of employers come to york to do talks, classes and presentations

If you don't mind me asking, where does your information on YLS' employability (and reputation among law firms) come from?
