Teaching assistant apprenticeship after hnc level 4 in early years studies/

Hi everyone. I hope someone can answer my question.

I have always wanted to be a teaching assistant. It was my dream. However, I think I have chosen the wrong course which I very much regret. I have completed HNC level 4 in early years studies, but i don't feel confident enough to apply for a job and would like more practical experience which an apprenticeship would certainly offer me. I also studied level 5 HND but discountinued due to health reasons and owe the student finance england the money that I have been overpaid apparently.

Anyway, I was wondering if I could still get onto a teaching assistant apprenticeship even if i hold a higher qualification in a similar field? I know that the provider might not get the government funding in this case, but could i perhaps fund it myself with an advanced learner support fund? Is this even possible? Would an apprenticeship provider even consider me? I am really depressed because of this situation.
