There's some examples on the website. I have the November 2017 papers and mark schemes if you want them and haven't already had them for a mock.

Do those mark schemes have the answers (like candidate A ... candidate B... etc.) if so could you link them both please.

in terms of mark schemes and practice answers i'm really sorry but i don't know. i hear all this talk about people getting grade 9s but it seems no one is really willing to share their actual papers. anyhow that link has a bunch of practice high level responses which may help. as for techniques i'd say look out for some high level vocabulary. i googled A level techniques and i'm currently memorizing them. i don't know if this will pay off in the actual exam but we'll see. if you want an actual list i'll find some in a bit...

Yeah it seems quite hard to find the actual answer sheets to these papers, it is really annoying.
I’m not sure where u can find sample answers but try searching using different keywords

But techniques such as metaphors,similes, alliterations, personifications and imageries are quite important

i wish i could help you (and myself tbh this is 60% of the gcse and i could find more support on 19th century fiction compared to non fiction which is really frustrating). it's weird since you would think after a year of the new gcses they would have more support...

it helped me to expand my points because i used old gcse material which made me struggle to expand my points and make them sound more high level.

Markschemes only have what they expect rather than actual answers though, a lot of the examples are still locked unfortunately, and there are none for the transactional writing. Might still be helpful so I'll link it in
