Last year's (June 2017) AQA Maths grade boundaries were much lower than the ones in July 2016. 2018 Boundaries was 124 marks out of 240 to get a 7 (Equivalent to an A) and for June 2016 it was 125 marks out of 175 to get an A (Which should be around 168 marks out of 240 if you compare it to the new 9-1 exams).

124 marks and 168 marks is a very big difference, which made me really worried. Can someone tell me if the grade boundaries are going to change to make the 2018 boundaries are higher?

I think i'll get like 42/80 for paper 1 and 54/80 for paper 2 and 56/80 for paper 3 (I haven't done paper 3 yet) So i'm guessing i'll get around 140 marks - 155 marks)

Last year (2017) was the first year of the new GCSE, which was specifically designed to be a lot harder than the old (up to 2016) GCSE. That's the reason for the difference. The 2018 boundaries will probably be roughly the same as the 2017 boundaries.
