Are my parents normal or sh***y

Basically as a kid my dad used to say to me that "laughing comes to crying" so I couldn't laugh or express emotion. Still can't cry in my house despite being diagnosed with anxiety disorder as they tell me they "can't cope" and think I'm crazy because I'm crying and they say "not this sh** again" every time I have a panic attack

A friend of mine suffers similar problems. It is against her religion to have mental illnesses so she can't tell her parents.

Are your parent Shizzy? Perhaps they don't understand what your going through. Or they're shizzy. Maybe they think if they tell you they "can't cope," your anxiety disorder will just disappear!

There doing it all wrong. I'm not the advice type, but I would talk to a cousin or friend. Having someone listen is always nice.
