Just wandering how long it'll take for remark results to be given back to you after they've been remarked?

oh and can you ask for a remark and still ask for a photocopy of your script?

ive requested for a script back from jan, it should be in school within a week apparently

and then from that im going to look at the script and see if i want a remark i think there is a tight window though however!

possibly days!

oh sorry, i had one of my GCSE papers remarked and i think it took about 3 weeks, it can vary one of my friends it took 2 months to some back not sure why :s-smilie:

it shouldnt be nothin more then about a month and a half

I wouldn't trust edexcel. We suspected our Politics class's papers had been marked wrong, sent them back for remarking and never heard back again. Well, not until they sent us the bill for these non-existent services.

its with ocr though.
how often do they change original grades after remark? are they more likely to go up,down or stay the same and by how much?

I know that ith OCR the grades do not change very much at all unless there is a dire marking error.

im having trouble with AQA atm... everyone that was with AQA for the january series seems to have had a problem!

History - Edxecel - there has been a formal complaint about them they mucked up the marking amazinly aswell... A grade students getting U's and D graders getting A's

yeah I was wondering something similar

My Law paper wasnt fab got a C when I was predicted an A! Thats with AQA I'm getting the paper back and planning to go over it with my teacher.

yeahh im resitting my psychology aswell incase the remark road isnt a possible one!

apparenlty cambridge estimated that a third of exam papers are incorrectly marked!

annoys me because so much can hang on the correct marking of an exam paper!

I'm requesting my paper back for my Business Studies unit 1 with AQA as me and my teacher feel that I have been undermarked. As I got an A at GCSE (A* in exam) and also got an A in our unit 1 mock and an A in the unit 2 mock we did.

However when I got my result back from my January exam I got a D which seems really odd.

So I now have to apply for a re-sit get my paper back and then maybe get a re-mark.
Damn exam boards!!
