Thanks xx
I feel like the last paper is gonna be tough cuz the last the two papers were too easy(?) esp paper 2 so theres gonna be loads of nasty questions like histograms and 3d trig and atleast some 6 markers cuz we haven't had one yet.

Do you mean the question that said "Show that the curve and line have exactly one point of interection"? For that one the quadratic could be factorised so there was no need to use the quadratic formula.

If not then I don't know what question you mean.

Yeah, oh really i tried factorising but i didnt work, the answer was -0.5 the right?

I think we will get at least one question on circle theorems or congruence

Thank you! Definitely, need to up my revision game for maths this weekend if I want to get that 8. My predictions are I'll need to have around 70+ marks in Paper 3 to secure the 8... :s-smilie:
But I guess it depends on the boundaries... I hope they're low...

The estimated boundaries are: 42 > 7
52>8
64>9

So with 70 you'll be fine (This is for AQA btw)

Is that percentages or Marks?

Are you sure about this? They came up in Edexcel but I can't see them anywhere in AQA Paper 1 or 2.

Ah, yeh paper 1 was hard. I'm just hoping it all levels out.
Quite sure that 3D trig has come up in one of the papers.
Otherwise, very useful thanks!
