Do you mean the question that said "Show that the curve and line have exactly one point of interection"? For that one the quadratic could be factorised so there was no need to use the quadratic formula.

Thank you! Definitely, need to up my revision game for maths this weekend if I want to get that 8. My predictions are I'll need to have around 70+ marks in Paper 3 to secure the 8...
But I guess it depends on the boundaries... I hope they're low...

Yep, I'm on AQA as well.
The scores wouled be good but my marks for Paper 1 were abysmal, I missed out a lot as well so I need to make it up
