what you get for the six marker on photosynthesis/ the on and off mechanism??
I said the on mechanism requires proteins for it to work which deacreases biomass??

I said the same thing and how it had uses more energy for thr required protiens which reduces biomass - and made up some random ******** that i know wasnt right

sounds right to be honest and part b of the Q relied on that idea so hopefully we're on the right tracks, what did you get for part b anyway about more genes being inserted?

i put that the plant isn't doing photosynthesis at it's max possible level
less energy produced
when animals eat it they get less energy, and also loss biomass though pooing as respiring
when we eat animals we get an even less level of biomass

i was so happy monoclonal antibodies came up bc i spent a long time learning it lol

I said when the mechanism is one, the plant cant photosynthesise as light is prevented from being let in meaning no glucose is produced from it. Then when the plant is respiring, it has to use its' biomass (which is excess glucose) to respire and therefore theres no glucose from photosynthesis to replace glucose lost in the respiration so biomass reduces overall
