Art show pictures

im bored so ive decided to put some of my art foundation final show pictures up to see if any one has anything to say on the matter, they are quite blurry due to my digital cam messing about with me,
the project was called
'Saturday Night Live'
a look into the affects of drinking and social interaction within the youth and older culture, showing the typical saturday night in a local pub and its surroundings, exploring what happens and what outcomes there are , basically to show what we do as people and what everyone can say has done, which is drinking.

it focuses on the binge drinking within youth culture and the affects it has within sociaty,

im open to critisiem, of my work and of my bad spelling, cheers

Have you ever tried using a camera with special night effect (not nigth vision). It takes about 5-10 seconds to take in all the light and so if the light is moving you get some great effects, thus:

I took this one at a bop.

OOO I just found this one I took at the Eiffel Tower. I then went a bit mad and did loads with different swirls but can't find them at the moment.

I particularly like the first one. It had something extra to it - the interest of what he was doing with his hands perhaps? I like the way it is not blurry, but how the time lapse is shown. Did you take a lot of pictures? I know when I first started taking photos I had to take hundreds before I got about 5 good enough/interestign enough. Now it's down to just around one hundred  LOL

thanks for your comments , much apreicated

i wanted a dark and moody, low light and a sort of low hope, finish to them, which i feel worked quite well for it, i like this effect alot, i think its my whole outlook in terms to life in genral, i like to show gritty realism

i took about 60 odd some are lost some are floating about in my room on cd, some on the comp. some good, some crap

i also made a 6-7 min video to go with it which took bloody ages to render , 3 weeks of sitting in front of a i-mac and changing things, nice

LOL! WHat a difference an expensive camera makes! (NB it's my boyfriend's, not mine ) edit: I meant with the video/rendering time!

I tend to take more "nice" pictures of my family, friends, where I live, interesting architecture and textures whereas my bf takes photos of things when it is something "interesting" as he says. I like having lots of bright and gorgeous photos of things all over my walls (I'm swamped  - got 100 more printed today).

I really love http://www.elinorcarucci.com/

I don't do grit

I guess people have to have there own certain style and subject matter, no use having every film/photography student, taking the same pictures or using the same matter to explore.

if look closely at the 2nd or 3rd pic of the gallery thingy ull see my lovely Nizo super 8mm cine, my chosen method of filming, nice grainy effects but using a digital is to easy but when time is involved nice and easy.

nice site, some great photos , simplistic but effect, very good

I love the softness of them.

I'm surprised at how naked her family are though!! I mean, my family are happy having their photos taken but not naked!

My nieces love having their photos taken and the youngest ones (4 and 19 months) will run to you after having their photo taken and will try and look in the digital viewer to see what they look like!

I hate it at uni when my friends don't like having their photos taken. Spoil sports.

i usually carry some kind of camera around with me all the time, some people think that is very strange, but its just me, and i think oh well, cheers
