Graduate Prospects for Surrey

Hi, I currently hold an offer for Chemical Engineering at Surrey. I checked the Uni at 'The complete University Guide' and saw that the graduate Prospects for chemeng at surrey was 66/100. I want a high paying job when i graduate of course. Is this a really bad thing? Secondly, is it hard to get a job as a chemical engineer in the UK?
It's a decent uni, has a proper pilot plant and some good links with industry including Exxon which offers one of the highest paying graduate chem eng jobs available.

Ultimately though, your employability will be mostly determined by how you spend your time at uni. Engineering is very competitive at graduate level. Most chemical engineering grads won't get jobs as engineers (of any variety) within 6 months of graduation and it'll be tougher if you want a job as a chemical engineer specifically.
