changed decisions

to quickly summarise things :
I applied for pharmacy and received conditional offers which I've accepted
I have really been put off it after work experience
I have taken an interest in Optometry because it's more patient one to one based rather than customer based in pharmacy

So.. on results day depending on if I get into pharmacy. can I decline my application to uni for pahrmacy , take a gap year and reapply for optometry ??

Any advice would really be appreciated !!
Yup you are able to decline the offer/withdraw your UCAS application if you change your mind, even after results day! Just don't leave it too long after results day, since the uni would probably want time to offer the place to somebody else
Reapplying for optometry shouldn't be an issue, it might be worth trying to apply through clearing when you get your exam results if you didn't want to have to take the year out.
