Student account and betting?
Hi so basically I have made one deposit to William Hill from my HSBC Student Account just for fun with all this World Cup and tomorrow I will withdraw the money won from the bet (I'll have to give them a bank statement as proof so that they allow me to withdraw the money).
And I searched a bit on the web and am now paranoid my life will be ruined (not actually, but basically I've read stupid stuff). Please let me know, I am completely reasonable in thinking that there is no way they are going to close my student account for one single deposit - withdraw betting type of situation, right? It's basically deposit 40, withdraw 80 quid. Really low key I think?
I mean I did it online out of comfort but didn't research at all, I guess next time I'll just do it by cash in person. Eh.
