Hi everyone,

I just did this exam and I'm unsure about the poetry. For the poem I picked Amy Lowell's 'A Lady'. However, I interpreted it as being about a portrait of a lady rather than a description of a lady. Is this interpretation correct and do you think the exam board will give me marks for it?

Thanks!

My teacher said the meaning doesn’t matter, as long as you analyse the language. I did suburban dream and also got the wrong meaning
