I'm comparing The Great Gatsby and the pre-1900 section of the love poetry through the ages anthology for my first year English Lit mock. I have absolutely no idea how to structure an essay like this having not done one at GCSE or over the course of my first year of A-Level. I'm specifically going to compare two poems to the novel. Any help at all with this would be much appreciated.
