Is anyone still watching or have we all got football fatigue?

Given the Iceland vs Argentina result, a winner would go top of group D.

I'm predicting Croatia to win.

Standard incurrent of racism from the commentator as he expects Nigeria to have ‘enthusiasm and endeavour’.

Standard comment for African countries as African people are happy and can run for a long time

Football fatigue? After 4 games? Weak.

Nigeria have been really poor. Croatia for all the technical players are a bit slow and their age shows a bit in their play. Not surprising that the younger guys have looked the most dynamic.

TBF I had fatigue yesterday after watching Uruguay vs Egypt- but I did watch it while on the treadmill at the gym so ;P And it was a pretty boring game!

Shame for Nigeria to score an own goal. It seemed to perk Croatia up a bit as well.

I do think it's showing that Croatia have the oldest team at the tournament. It's also felt like a lot of players are suffering from long club seasons and champions league campaigns.

Nigeria look like a side who have decided they were going to lose this game before it even kicked off. Pathetic.

At least the Saudi's ****ing tried.

Seems like Croatia have killed it dead with that.

I do think there are positives for Nigeria- lots of shots on target. With Argentina playing a 3rd choice goalie, some of those could pay off!

Croatia win 2-0, putting them top of group D.

Not anything to set the world alight but a reasonably competent performance which is more than many teams can say so far!

I did think there were some flashes of good play from Nigeria but they lost confidence and struggled as the game went on. Still, 7 shots on target is promising, Iceland only managed 4 and got a goal against Argentina, so I could see Nigeria scoring against them.

Currently, I can see Croatia and Iceland going through from this group!

I genuinely apologise my country wasted 95 minutes of you and everyone time.
Worst performance in the tournament so far.

I can only imagine how frustrating it was to see Victor Moses throw away so many good opportunities with his unconvincing yet relentless diving.

There was also a point where one player (I think it was Iwobi) made an amazing break but no-one was in the box for him to pass to, they were all just sitting back in midfield, which must have been horrible to watch as a Nigerian.

Musa and Icheanacho seemed to want it more but it’s a shame they came so late on in the game. Really hoping they start next game or against Argentina, they could make a lot of difference. Both of Nigeria’s next games are winnable if they play like they mean it.

Moses was actually so frustrating, had a bunch of opportunities and he spent half his playing time hugging the floor 🙄 His antics genuinely vexed me to my core

Lucky he wasn’t booked for the nonsense he was getting up to.
