Do I have to memorise an experiment to understand it? IGCSE chemistry
If the answer is no then how else am I supposed to understand the experiment.

Hello,
I did iGCSE Chemistry with Edexcel (year 2016), and got an A* and I found that even if you memorize the experiment they usually ask one markers regarding it and it is more to do with common sense than regurgitating information.
So it is essential to understand the fundamentals of how to improve an experiment and why changing the experiment may improve it, in order to get those easy one marks.
