So, I'm studying Sport and Nutrition. Its weighted 25% for second year and 75% for third year. Is a first overall manageable? Or should I just aim for a 2:1?

Yes it's still possible. Youll need to get at least 75% in your third year which will average you out to 70% overall for your degree.

It will be possible given you do really well in your third year.

The exact value you have to average is 73.3(recurring)% for the third year

So really, if you get a decent first this year, you'll get a first overall

After getting low 2:1's second year I still managed a first class degree! However, only just. I got bang on 70% after doing so much better third year, especially in my dissertation! I still messed up a couple of times as well. Most people find themselves slightly more mature and focused in their third year, with good knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses. All the best of luck!

If you work very hard yes.

But the difference between 2.1 and 1.1 is nowhere near as big as a 2.2 and 2.1

So no biggie if you don't

its gonna be very hard, you gonna have to put the effort in and get 73%-75% on every module.... so yh possible, but very unlikely IMO.

Im studying Accounting & Finance, i was wondering how you find out how much your second and third year is weighed? Also does every course have a dissertation in their third year?
