Missed A Level exam because of mental illness?

No judgement please, just looking for advice.
So today I missed my last A2 history exam after a nervous breakdown on Saturday (I was been diagnosed with depression around two years ago and anxiety earlier this year). I had a complete nervous breakdown triggered by revision stress after a build up of family issues and bereavement (which my college knows about). I really couldn't do the exam as I was worried it could trigger another breakdown similar to Saturday night.
I have asked college to apply for special considerations for the missed exam (i.e take an average of the other exams to work out what mark I might have got) which they are happy to do, I also have a doctors note saying I couldn't do the exam because of an acute depressive episode.
However now I am worried that the request won't be accepted because they might think I could have still done the exam (as it's not a physical illness).
Does anyone have any experience/advise on this? I am targeted an A* (which I doubt I will achieve anyway) and am so worried 😩
Thanks in advance

What would be the point in worrying?
They either accept it or they dont
At least you are well versed into how to get special consideration.and appear to have a good case.

Mental health is just as much of a concern as physical health. They will accept it and you do have a good case for it.

Thanks for your reply, I think I have a good case but I guess the worrying is unavoidable 😩
