Hey everyone,

I am rather sure what field of engineering I want to study- the electronics side as I am fascinated by the mobile division and would also be happy seeing myself in communications too.

As you can clearly see well why not pick electronic and communications engineering? That is definitely in consideration, but its not as well pronounced/ out there in many universities than say... electrical and electronic engineering.

If there’s any experiences with this field of engineering or advice please do share!

Check the course modules in EEE courses and you'll probably find comms modules in Y3 or Y4. You could also do an MSc in the more specialised area after a BEng in EEE.

e.g. Surrey's EEE has communications modules in Y2 onwards
