I'm in the process of putting my application in for Lancaster Accommodation. I've decided I want a superior ensuite (not catered) but I'm not sure which college to apply for.

I really like the look of refurbished accommodation in Bowland tower but I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

I'm intending to study software engineering if that makes any difference.

Hi - sorry you haven't had a response to this yet. I'm just going to bump the thread in the hope that someone sees this and can help

Why do I do this?

The Universities forums get a lot of questions that are unanswered. This is often because the OP's thread got missed - bumping threads gives them another lease of life and frequently results in someone seeing it and being able to respond

If you would like to help with unanswered questions check out the first part of the list here and don't forget the second part of the list here.

Or if you have questions, get in touch with Puddles the Monkey.

Hi, Speaking from experience the Superior En suite Accommodation on campus is fairly similar in every college, the biggest difference is their location and the college itself. Colleges like Bowland and Furness are fairly central, so you're never really more than 5 minutes walk away from your lectures, whereas students living in colleges such as Cartmel, located on South campus have a little bit further to walk - I guess its just personal preference! I'm currently in Furness college, so I'm admittedly quite biased towards them- but every college has its own strengths. Myself and a few of other current students have written a couple of blogs which may be quite helpful in giving you a better understanding of the colleges here.
