What is a UCAS convention like?

I am going to one tomorrow, just wondering, what is it like?
Basically uni reps will tell you about courses but 90% of it is useless cos they have no idea about the courses so they’ll either say “oh its a new course/not my specialism” or waffle on and not actually answer your questions

But on the bright side lots of freebies
The one i went to was like a big market thing (have been twice cos school took us twice for some reason)
There are reps from most unis and its a bit like a normal market, like people calling out at you to come over to their stall
you get given a lot of prospectuses and a load of bags and pens

So all I gotta do is go to different stations, ask questions and that is basically it? Jheeze I gotta be there for 2 hours tomorrow ;-;

Basically yup XD i was at mine for a whole day, we snuck out after a couple hours and got costa

All day? I gotta be there from 11:30 - 1:30 pm Lol
It's utter garbage (imo). I went with a few friends and it was like being in a can of sardines. We left after a few minutes :redface:

Jelly we had an hour coach ride tho but it was still like 9:30 - 4:30 felt like it was never going to end

Imma just only stay there till 12 then try and sneak out and go home if it is really useless as people are saying it is....
