Favourite Quotes

Hey people,

What are everyone's favourite quotes? Quotes that inspire you, quotes that you find funny, quotes that scare you........ anything interesting.

My favourite quote is "Far better it is to dare mighty things than to rank with those poor timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat".

I try and live my life by that idealogy!

Anyone else got any thought-provoking quotes that they remember for everyday life?

I have loads, have a wordpad that is about 30 pages long and basically a collection of quotes that I have amassed from various sources over the past few years, it's on my computer at uni though. Top of my head, one of my favourite quotes is probably:

'if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got.'

I made a thread a couple of days ago called 'whats the best advice you've ever been given?' and that has quite a few quotes in

A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection - Fight Club, Chuck Palahnuik. The film is so quotable but this one is one of my favourites from the book.

The best place to blag quotes from is peoples signatures, I've gained loads from that. Also, threads like this help. I have probably infringed so much copyright it's untrue but then it's only for my own personal use.
