Hi,

first of all, hope your results are good despite what you think . You could look at possibility of doing resits in another school/ your local city college. Also look at any access courses that unis offer, sometimes also called foundation year , which may lead you directly into your desired course. There is of course clearing where they can be pretty forgiving if they need to fill up spaces. At the end of the day they miss out on potential profit if their cohort is not full. Also if you are reasonably close (ABB for your first choice, or BBB for 2nd choice, if you call them they may 'forgive' you and take you anyways. Always worth giving them a call no matter what. Just make sure you collect results on results day and act on it straight away, as soon as you get home, start making calls etc. to give yourself most options. Even if your results are horrendous, there is a way out, trust me! My friend got in on his course having CCC when his course required ABB by doing foundation year!
