Chosen Incorrect Parent Marital Status

On student finance I have selected the option on Widowed on my Mothers marital status, my other was divorced before my farther passed away so she is technically divorced, do I need to change this?
If you out divorced instead you d need her divorce paperwork as evidence, much easier just to send your dad's death certificate.
