It's unusually early, but the SQA Exam Timetable 2019 has been released!

When are your exams next year? Are they nicely spread out or all bunched together?

Still not sure if I should do Highers or leave. I'll just need to wait for my exam results in August.

Results day can't come fast enough! Only one more week and then it's the summer holidays for me. Heatwave next week as well.

I've got Higher Maths and Higher Modern 2 days in a row oof.
Other than that it's pretty decent, H French on the 14th, H Accounts on the 17th and lastly H Computing on 22nd. So about a week and a half of study leave unless the school policy on it changes

Not too bad I guess

Higher Modern Studies - May 1st
Higher English - May 8th
Higher History - May 13th
Higher Business - May 16th
Higher RMPS - May 27th

I don't love that gap at the end but it's mostly good.

Are you all studying over the summer? I might wait it out until I find out what I've done in my National 5's as those are the top of my worries.

That seems like a pretty decent exam timetable

That looks pretty good Nice and spread out Agree the gap at the end isn't ideal, but probably better than them being squished up :dontknow:

I would recommend that you actually don't do anything beyond what you are doing in school just now/any summer work you're given. Instead, take the break and rest. If you're desperate to learn, try something that's not in your courses, like a MOOC (massive open online course) or just find something that interests you and practice it/learn about it

I started my courses 3 weeks ago now, and provided that N5s went as hoped then I'll be sitting them all in May!

Damn, didn't notice that this was a thing. Looks like my timetable will be:

2nd May - Higher Maths
8th May - Higher English
10th May - Higher Chemistry
15th May - Higher Physics
22nd May - Higher Computing

The gap at the end is slightly unfortunate, but altogether not that bad a spread

Those look pretty well spread out The timetable for this year seems more similar to last year than would normally be seen in consecutive years

Studying? No, I’ll do whatever I need to do for my current Highers but nothing more, I really need this break, lol.

I’ve dropped the only two subjects I’d be nervous about the exam in so I’m not overly concerned for August but I know a lot of people who are worried that they won’t be in some subjects after exam results.

At first I was quite annoyed about how close my exams are but now I’m quite glad there not spread so far apart. I’ve got

30th April — higher biology
1st May — higher modern studies (annoyed these are a day after each other)
8th May — higher English
13th May — higher history

quite shocked biology is so early I definitely wish they were further in the month but at least I’ll be finished quickly

I had a massive gap this year between my other subjects and RMPS because it was on the 28th of May. I honestly didn’t start revising for RMPS until all my other exams had finished which was around the 15th May I think so I was glad to have that gap, it comes in handy lol !!

Ive got all my exams in the first few weeks—English and Chemistry right next to each other! Is it odd that I’m already stressing?
Looks like my time table will be:

26th April- Music
30th April- Biology
3rd May- Maths
9th May- English
10th May- Chemistry
15th May- Physics

That's not too bad spacing out wise- have seen much worse!
Will it be your first set of exams/National 5s?
Wouldn't say it's odd that you are thinking about it and it is causing worry for you, but you do need to make sure that you don't let it ovewhelm you and that you are looking after yourself! At least for just now, try to relax and enjoy the summer!

Higher Music - 26th April
Higher German - 29th April
Higher Human Biology - 30th April
Higher English - 8th May
Higher French - 14th May

My exams finish early this year which is good, but I don't like the first three being so early and close together
