Friend laughing at racism. help

I showed my friend the thread on here "I can't stand black people, I don't know why but just can't stand 'em." and my friend burst out laughing. why? is he racist? he kept reading it, laughing and now I catch him giggling to himslf and he says it's about that thread. how can someone feel this way? also, he is partly black. so shouldn't he know better than to be racism?

Defense mechanism, all you really can do as a slightly black person is laugh off racism.

They might have been laughing at how pathetic it was ? I would’ve laughed at it and I’m far from racist

I wouldn't have laughed at it if I came across a thread like that however some black people or anyone sometimes may just laugh it off, not take it seriously because there is still racism in our society sadly.
