I saw on a psychology FAQ that 99% of your resources will be online research journals (as opposed to textbooks). I was just wondering what they are and how can I access them.
An academic journal is a place where 99% of published, peer-reviewed research gets published (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_journal ). All of these are accessible online (though they have hefty paywalls that your university pays a tonne to access!).Journal articles are published here. Most journals will also have printed editions (though everyone usaully reads the online version), and some journals are only online.
As well as publishing original research, journals often publish reviews and introductions to certain topics, which are often a better source than textbooks (which can quickly get out of date). Also, reading the intro sections to original research papers will help you understand the field.
