need help making an essay plan:
How accurate is it to say that living standards in the USA were transformed for the better in the years 1941–80?
im doing edexcel

Intro- start with the context, then say the reasons why it was transformed for the better and then why it wasn't. Then end with your judgement whether it was or wasn't

The you'll have your main body paragraphs.

Yes it was transformed
No it wasn't transformed

And within each paragraph you'll counter argue to give both sides of the argument. Also make sure u include evidence, which u analyse.
And u must always remember to link back to your original judgement at the end of each para

Then end with a balanced conclusion

so you think 2 main body paragraphs are okay? obviously ill be really detailed but i normally write 3-4 paragraphs for essays like this. but tbh there are only 2 main pov you can have so yh

For a factor based question you need 3-4 main body paragraphs

In this type of question it's yes/no. It kinda even out because you need to provide an in depth counter argument in both paragraphs. So it's two really long main body paragraphs . So it's technically like 4.
