Afternoon everyone. I plan to create a smart gaming chair for my design and technology coursework. I would highly appreciate if you who is reading could comment any key features or design ideas or needs in order to help me create this. Thank you!

Have a good afternoon!

First think what a gamer wants:
- Comfortable for long time (shape)
- Food/Drink
- Ease
- Storage
- Sound

Then develop:
Comfortable for long time (shape)
- supports for arm when holding controller
- Shaped to body - use of memory foam?
- Breathable fabric
- Climate controls e.g aircon/heating
- More like a C shape on the floor than a normal chair - possibility to rise/lower depending on use

Food/Drink
- Drinks holder
- Food storage
- Mini fridge
- Fizzy pop dispenser?

Ease
- Touch pad controls (allows user to swipe in different directions to do different things)
- Buttons
- Built in small TV for displaying info during game

Sound
- Speakers
- Port for headphones
- Vibrations/tilting

These are just a few ideas but remember to develop them so that they aren't boring. For example, the drinks holder is boring. To make it better I would have it fold away, heat or cool the drink, dispense drinks (rises up from cold compartment in seat). I got very high marks in my course work and this is what I did. Also remember to always relate back to the user

I never designed it, that was just a brain storm. I'm sure you can come up with some way to do it.
