I find myself in an irritating situation. I submitted my application for tuition fees to SAAS a few days ago and chose not to apply for a student loan to cover living costs for student accommodation because - when looking into repayment plans for student loans - I decided I would apply for these loans separately through GOV.UK. When I went to apply for the
loan through GOV.UK I discovered - to my own ignorance - that SAAS is part of GOV.UK and if I was to apply for a student loan, as a Scot, I would need to apply through there. I have submitted an enquiry to SAAS about the situation in hopes to amend the application to include a living cost loan, but I was wondering if anyone here has made a similar mistake in the application process and how they went about fixing it?
