Msc Air Transport Management at Loughborough or Surrey University??Watch
Advice on studying business at university
Hi I have a big dilemma in terms of deciding which university should i chose to do my Msc Air Transport Management. From what i know Loughborough has this course for around 40 years and seems to have more experience in this field and Surrey University implemented this course recently but it has a better reputation as an university on an international level and is good for employment and also very close to the major airports in London. So my question is which one should i chose in order to get a better job as soon as i graduate, and if you are looking to hire for someone in Air Transport Industry , as an employer which university would look more appealing to you when you see it on the CV ???
Great to hear you're considering Loughborough
It's a tough one because both unis are well regarded.
If you get a good result from either, you chances of getting a good job are comparable wherever you choose to study and both will look good on your CV.
Compare the modules, accreditation and see which takes you where you want to go.
You can also compare location, student experience, industry links, accommodation, support etc.
For example we've got really good industry links and a great student experience - check out what Surrey have to offer too.
If you get chance to visit each uni that may also help you make your mind up.
We're very close to East Midlands Airport and Birmingham Airport and although we're really not all that far from London airports we're not as close as Surrey obviously!
Hopefully that'll help you go someway to making a decision. If you've got any more questions just ask
