I'm currently studying nursing as a second degree (so I have a plan 1 and plan 2 loan). What would happen if I needed to take a break due to maternity now it is loan funded? I'm aware that when it was bursary students who took "maternity" got an extra year of bursary paid whilst away from the course but how does it work for loans?
