Printer for Uni????

Is it worth purchasing a printer for uni?
Are printers and the ink stuff really expensive and complicated to set up?
Unlikely to need it. Just use the uni ones.
Why would you want to bring your own printer just use the ones at university. Don't waste your money.
Printers are designed to force you to pay more for ink than you need.

idk apparently you could be saving money long term especially if you have lots of slides and reading to print out
I get mine for free, and all associated costs.

No. You don't need a printer imo.

However, if you do want to get one - make sure you spend a bit extra on a good laser printer rather than inkjets. Toner is much cheaper than ink and these printers print a lot faster!

I already had one at home and found it handy because I could print whenever I needed which was important because I commuted and didn't always have access to a library. Definitely handy in the dissertation period when I was printing loads of readings and drafts etc. However I did have friends who managed without. I could'nt live without mine tbh
