What doea near pass mean in Btec level 3

For btec level 3 extended diploma if you get near pass grade for all the external units but get mostly merits/distinctions for internal assigments do you get an overall grade higher than ppp?

Yeah but that doesnt tell you if u get the qualification if you get near pass grade for all the external units.
anyone know? i got Near pass on Unit 1 and 3 and my internal i got all merits and distinctions. does it mean that i wont be able to get higher than PPP at the end of the two years?
Hey I’m doing btec bsuiness and I got a near pass on one of my internal modules, the rest merits and distinction. The grade calculator predicts my grade at a DDM will I achieve this grade? Also did you score higher than PPP and go to uni thx
