Is a course being in clearing now a good sign?

or does it not really mean anything?

Good from what perspective?

It means it hasnt been as popular.

If you have it as one of your offers? Then it isnt bad as it just means they arent full and there is scope for leniency.

I wouldnt read too much into it.
it just means that the course has spaces and what that means in terms of a benefit too you is that universities may be more lenient but that depends on how many spaces they have and/or how well people did in comparison to you
Could also be the other way around fot top unis, they werent happy with the cohort so they rejected everyone and are awaiting qualified interest on results day.

Or they might have decided to expand the course. (Rare, but can happen)
