Hello everyone! I am South Korean student who wants to apply for physics at Oxford amd UCL. And my stats are :

5 on Physics mechanics
5 on Calculus AB
5 on Calculus BC
4 on Physics E&M
4 on Phyiscs 1
4 on Chemistry
3 on Biology

Can Calculus AB and BC considered as 2 subjects? If not, can I take one more SAT Subject test after applying when there are no any test dates for international students before October?

Hello,

Yes, we anticipate that you would count as meeting the Oxford entrance requirements (assuming you have taken the SAT Reasoning Test or ACT and scored above the required level) using both Calculus AB and Calculus BC. As an example, UK candidates often take A-levels in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics and these are definitely accepted by us as two qualifications.

However, we think that 4s in Physics APs may present a disadvantage. This does not mean you would automatically be ruled out, but may affect your chances of receiving an offer.
