Brunel!

Thanks, but why??

Depends what you're actually after, I mean is it strictly the course itself or the uni itself or what?

I personally love the setting of Brunel, the area is nice, as is the town centre. It has two shopping malls, etc. QMUL only really has chip shops and dodgy bars, although it is closer to central and the accomodation is nice.

Brunel is apparently one of the fastest evolving and improving universities around, whereas Queen Mary just struck me as mediocre for the two months I went there. It is a nice enough place, but it wasn't for me.

As for the course itself, I think Queen Mary didn't even let us choose our modules, which I thought was a bit weird. I'm not sure it even does a specific Marketing course, whereas Brunel does.

Where are you from, out of interest?

Well, I guess at some point they are competitors
I am from Russia )) I am trying to find MSc course in Marketing. At first I thought MSc International Marketing = sounds better (in QMUL) but later on I am thinking it might not be so essential, may be I should go for MSc Marketing instead (Brunel) (of course if I will accepted)

Anyway, I will go to see QM tomorrow, to know what it's all about )))
What course have you done in QM? How about teachers and job prospectives (if you know)?

That's pretty cool, I'm from Russia too... How did you find QM?

I did Business Management there and I didn't like it, that's why I left after 2 months, I'm going to Brunel in September to do Marketing instead.

I visited both, brunel has more friendlier atmosphere comparing to QM
QM seems to be ugly even facilities

Yeah I know what you mean, it's just not right for some reason. Where you thinking of applying then?

LSBU- unconditional
Brunel - unconditional
QM - pending
Bath - pending

Go for Queen Mary. Brunel isn't bad but since QM is part of University of London, you'll have more resources available to you and QM has a better rep than Brunel anyway. I wouldn't even bother with LSBU personally.
