Having attended the open day last weekend I was impressed with Sheffield, the enthusiasm of the physics staff and their research and connections. I don't understand why Sheffield is so low in league tables?

Any ideas?

I live in Sheffield (12 years)..it's because of the history of the industry decline which did effect its reputation; apart from that, education wise is above average
