Hey guys!

Anyone starting Bucks New Uni in September 2018? Also got a quick question, how many days are you in typically for your first year?

Thanks for getting in touch (I've just spotted your message on our Clearing thread too..). Congrats on your unconditional offer! :biggrin:

Usually we advise that teaching is around 12 hours per week, spread over three to five days. Timetables won't be confirmed until later in the summer but I've just sent a message to one of our academics to see whether he can give a better idea at this stage of when you might be in. I'll let you know once I've heard back from him.

In the meantime do let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

I've just heard back from one of the academics and he has advised that the timetables will be firmed up at the end of the summer, but confirmed that you would have 12 hours teaching time per week. Student's usually wouldn't be in on more than 4 days per week, and those wouldn't be full days either, so lots of time for reading / self study / assignments, but also time for getting involved in our fantastic Students' Union or get part-time work if you need to too!
