when a girl wants a boyfriend, has strong feelings for a guy and finds a lot of guys really attractive, at the same time as finding some girls (mostly models) attractive and wouldn’t mind sexually hooking up with them but would never date a girl

You want to have sex with both girls and boys, therefore you are bisexual. That simple.

You don't have to have romantic/relationship interests to be classed as sexually attracted to someone. You're either heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or asexual. Let's not f*** about.

well if you want to get technical we're all bisexual to some extent, but i think you are legit over thinking this. there is no word for being straight but open to sex with models. me, i like men, but that doesn't mean i wouldn't be happy having sex with Jennifer Lopez for the rest of my life. i wouldn't put 'bisexual' on my resume tho if you swing more to being straight.

Sexuality is about who you are sexually attracted to. You don't have to want to date them to be sexually attracted

That's not really a sexuality, though - it's essentially being hetero whilst finding the idea of sex with the same biological gender interesting, without being actually sexually attracted to the same sex.

Maybe they misworded the question, as from reading it there are really just wanting to know if there's a name for how they are feeling.

Yep, and as I said, if they're actively sexually attracted to members of the same sex, that's bisexual.

I know a lot of people who use heteroflexible to mean they’re straight in terms of romantic relationships/dating but would sleep with someone of the same sex... not sure how widely used the term is though!

Sorry, but I disagree, the definition of bi-curious is literally a heterosexual person interested in having a sexual experience with a person of the same sex.

Bi-curious is a phenomenon in which people of a heterosexual or homosexual identity who, while showing some curiosity for sexual activity with a person of the same sex they do not seek romantic relationships with them.

Bisexuality is a romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behaviour toward both males and females, or romantic or sexual attraction to people of any sex or gender identity

The OP made reference to the fact that they feel sexually attracted to the same sex, but would never date someone of the same sex. Therefore, bi-curious.

OP - If I could give you any advice it would be to go to a LGBTQ website (https://www.youngstonewall.org.uk/) and have a look or maybe send an email, as we can only give you our own views and as you can see Woody and I are going to agree to disagree on this one.

Exactly - being bi-curious means having an interest, being intrigued by the idea of having sex with someone of the same sex, without actual attraction or any sort of intent to actually be involved in sexual activity. Being bisexual means to actually be sexually attracted to both sexes. That's how OP is describing herself and specifically said she would have sex with a girl, not just that she's intrigued by the idea of it. Very clearly bisexual.

You're killing me here.. see bold in both statements...

OP post-

You failed to bold the part of the statement where a person is bi-curious would only show curiosity for sexual activity. They wouldn't actually ever want to go through with it, nor are they sexually attracted to members of the opposite sex. Bisexuals are both attracted to members of the opposite sex and would have sex with them - no romance or relationship interest is required, sex and romance are not always mutually inclusive and you can have one without the other. OP therefore falls under bisexual, since there is both the sexual attraction and the intent.

You seem to be fixated on the "not interested in relationships" part of being bi-curious, when as I said just above, you can also be bisexual and not be interested in relationships, and can be interested in just sex.

Like I said, we are going to agree to disagree. OP should go to the website I suggested as they are more qualified on this topic than we are.
