Is it important to make friends in sixth form?

Personally, I hate socializing and I just want to do well in my A levels and go to a top uni but I am pressured to socialize by my teachers. Is it worth making friends with people you are probably not going to see again after sixth form or just focusing on studies?

Not really no, I spent two years only speaking to about 3/4 people at break and lunch. Bearing in mind i did hate my sixth form and was miserable there.
Well you don’t need to make friends, but having friends does make it easier as you have people you can revise with/share answers with etc. I imagine having no friends at all would be dull and lonely at times. But it’s only two years so it doesn’t really matter either way.
It helps because its nice to have people to have lunch with, borrow notes from and generally be sociable. These are important skills. Are you going to say the same for uni? If you dont need people then go for it.
