no, I don't think you can take advantage of pure democracy.

But you definitely can take advantage of democratic systems. Electoral systems, referendum, etc.

Of course... people take advantage of stupid/naive people within a democracy all the time. And where politics is concerned, stupid/naive people probably account for more than half the entire population, so it's a pretty big thing.

I don't think you can take advantage of democracy itself but you can take advantage of elements of democracy, such as electoral systems/elections.

For example with FPTP, people take advantage by voting tactically rather than voting for who they truly want to be their MP or the party they want to be in power.
