Quickk physics question

You have gone air->glass then glass->air

therefore air->air

therefore no angle change.

Hey thanks but I was thinking more along the lines

so theta1 is equal to the blue angle and i get what you did but mathematically it doesn't make sense to me

ur basically showing opposite angles, therefore, it is still the same. Draw a line 90 degrees to the box, that is the normal, and so this will be the same since the direction of energy transfer remains the same in air, therefore this creates the same angle.
