Anyhow, can we focus on this bit right here?

Google is your friend

Oxford Union: https://www.oxford-union.org/term_card
Social events would be largely up to your college JCR
CS events: http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/seminarsEvents.html
Swimming: http://www.ousc.info
etc
etc

i...i... want a statistic record like the one in OxfordBlue about CS, social events, swimming. My purpose is, hopefully, to get a sense of the culture of each college. That's my only big question of the day. I don't like any college ranking because again, I don't know how they obtain the result in the 1st place. Well if you begin to think that I have to do create the stat myself, sigh......

A third of a college's cohort changes EVERY year. You are making too much of this...

You say you already live in Oxford, so visit some colleges and see which one feels right for you. As I said earlier there's a 20% chance any offer will come from elsewhere anyway.

And please don't get too emotionally invested in an Oxbridge application...

Alright I'm gonna close this thread soon. So what's your final answer. Which one should be the 1st choice. Oxford or imperial?

I refer you to my first answer. Seriously.

Come back when you've secured both offers.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that any college keeping a statistical record of how social it is... is probably not a social college.

" So if a college keeps a statistical of how sporty it is... is it still a sporty college?"
Ok this thread is closed. Btw, I just remind myself that on this world there's no such thing called a convenient record about everything unless I work for level 5 NSA.

??

Sports have collegiate league tables (i.e. cuppers). And the university sports teams award blues, etc - not the colleges.

Also you don't have league table for bops. Although that's the sort of thing The Tab might well have reviews of...

That's not how it works. But I have moved it to the University of Oxford forum with a link in the Imperial College forum.

There is lots of information out there - you just need to look. But you also need to realise what records definitely aren't going to exist - surely you realise that normal humans do not record statistics about their socialising?

- Why do you keep talking about socialising as if I solely only mention abt it?

- Right, for the 2nd bit. Well how do you think me or you judge how socialised ourselves, our friends around us? Does this sentence sound familiar to u, "Well u seem going out a lot ?" We don't just make a judgment like that out of the blue. It takes time, to do "some observation"

Ok guys, maybe I should have said this clearly in the beginning. This is the kind of answer I'm looking for
bla.png

Your personal opinion, experience, nice-to-know and must-know things here and there about either place. Anything relates to stat and numbers I can do homework myself.

Then you need to specify what you wanted, your original post hardly contained anything.

It helps to ask specific questions. However, there's bound to be a lot here already about life at university of oxford and imperial collegeand if you're lucky, something about CS

You may also want to specify that you're only looking for insight from current students. At times, if you forget about top universities, you might get a very generic for a question about a less known university, which is completely unhelpful.

If you live outside of England then it might not be feasible, otherwise I recommend visiting or getting in touch with the university to talk to a student rep.
