Does attendance get sent to UCAS?

do the unis that you apply to get a copy of your attendence at your current school 6th form/college?
i didnt think they did, however, heard today they did! :confused:

we were told it was our 6th form policy to comment on attendence in the ref. & mine was brutally honest it would seem. (though i think this is a good thing!)

so i don't think it's a designated section asking specifically, but most places probably include in the ref.

pencil queen may be able to help definitively!

they tend to include it in the reference, there is no 'box' for it as such.

We were told our attendance would only be mentioned if it was 'good' - if it was 'poor' they'd not write anything. We were told that not mentioning it meant that uni's would assume you had poor attendance - whether that's correct or not, I don't know.

My attendance wasn't mentioned in the ref, not cos it was bad, but cos it's my schools policy not to. I guess it varies depending on the place.

Mine didn't, but then I did board so it would of been a bit pointless. I think the policy for day students was that if attendance was awful it would be mentioned, but otherwise it wasn't.
