I applied for a Media and Film course and from the get go the entry requirements were ABB,I got the offer and ended up firming them. However, just now (several months later in July) UCAS has informed me that Lancaster changed its requirements from ABB to BB.

Is there any particular reason? I assumed maybe they didn't get enough people firming that course and decided to reel the people who did choose it with lower grades.

Because they have worked out what an amazing star you are going to be and definitely want you on board.

Your other guess could be correct.
